TinyEYE: My Mom

Speech Therapy Telepractice

My mom is a never ending song in my heart of comfort, happiness, and being. I may sometimes forget the words but I always remember the tune. ~Graycie Harmon
Hi everyone – hope all is well with you.

I am writing today because I am proud of my mom. Last night she was elected to her town council. To me, this is just another goal my mother has achieved. My entire life, I have watched her make a plan then make it happen. If she encountered a challenge along the way, she would change her direction – but not her destination. Growing up, each time I left my mom she would call out, “have fun, be good, be careful!” Besides hugs, support, and guidance, my mom has given me a gene that doesn’t not allow me to hear the words “give up”.

She has recently retired from her career with honors. One of her accomplishments was improving the quality of health care for rural Saskatchewan residents. Now she continues to exude enthusiasm, incredible grace, and ageless beauty, while serving her community and being the cornerstone of her family. We love you mom.

Who-hoo to you, mom! Have fun, be good, be careful!

There will come a time when you believe everything is finished. That
will be the beginning.
